Midwest Carriers Celebrates Truck Driver Safety Awards

It was a celebration of safety as Midwest Carriers drivers were inducted into the annual President’s Club Banquet. Each year the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association (WMCA) welcomes drivers with clean, safe driving records.  

Midwest Carriers is proud to recognize the truck driver safety awards which demonstrate their employees’ ongoing dedication to roadway safety. 

WMCA’s President’s Safe Driver Club

Potential club inductees are nominated by an official from their organization. For 2022, nearly 1,400 Wisconsin drivers were recognized for their daily dedication to safety and responsible driving. The bar is set high for safe truck driving with the following criteria:  

• Have 36 months of continuous work with a single organization  
• Be accident-free both on and off the clock over a three-year period 
• Maintain a clean driving record with no citations

Congratulations to the Truck Driver Award Winners

Midwest Carriers had an extraordinary year with 46 drivers inducted into the President’s Safe Driver Club. These drivers demonstrated an exceptional commitment to safety across the board, with recognition for a 1-year member all the way to a 22-year member.  

Special recognition goes to Pat Quinlan who was awarded the WMCA Driver of the Month and WMCA 2022 Highway Angel.  

Everyone wins when drivers prioritize safety on the road.

For 46 Midwest Carriers drivers, this level of safety adds up to:   

• 422 years of accident- and ticket-free driving 
• Approximately 50,000,000 miles of accident- and ticket-free driving  
• 40 accidents prevented on our nation’s highways  

Truck Driver Award Event: An Evening to Remember 

The truck driver recognition awards banquet provided an opportunity for Midwest Carriers to express appreciation for its drivers and recognize their hard work and dedication to safety. The company celebrated inductees with dinner, beautifully decorated desserts and door prizes including a 55″ television, gaming console, tent, vacuum, kayak, luggage, as well as some big-ticket prizes for drivers.
